About me

I’m at my best when I’m taking a messy collection of information and organizing it into a clear, reliable tool. I use language to create clarity and empower people to get things done. I believe that the biggest transformations shouldn't (can't) happen in a silo, and I thrive on building simple, useful systems that help teams and creators grow together.

To understand how I get things done, read more about my:

Skills

My skills

Human-centered content design

I solve user experience problems primarily through words and information architecture. I specialize in translating complex technical information into intuitive Help Center resources, video scripts, and end-to-end support flows for global audiences.

AI integration and knowledge management

I lead AI-readiness initiatives, redesigning internal and external ecosystems to support AI integration. This includes launching modernized support content and establishing "quality-first" workflows for the age of AI.

Data-driven optimization

I leverage analytical insights to identify user pain points and drive quantitative impact. My work has successfully achieved double-digit reductions in support volume and significant increases in user satisfaction ratings.

Strategic governance and collaboration

Transformation happens through alignment. I build repeatable processes and governance frameworks (like RACI matrices) to lead cross-functional teams through 150+ global launches and complex regulatory transitions.

Values

My core values

Accountability

I follow through on my commitments to myself and others in big ways and small—and I expect others to do the same. That’s how we build mutual trust and get things done.

Care

I show up for others. Whether it’s a listening ear, a helping hand, or an advocate, I want other people—my loved ones, neighbors, teammates, users—to feel supported.

Creativity

I’m fueled by new ways of doing things. I’m energized to partner with creative people who want to stand out, think differently, and ideate creative solutions.

Education

I seek knowledge for personal fulfillment, skill improvement, and adaptability throughout life. Fundamentally, I believe education at the right time + right place + right audience has the power to transform lives and create a better world.

Approach

My approach

At a very high level, here are some ways I activate broad skills like communication, problem solving, and decision making. Every situation is different–these are just some common approaches I take:

Communication
  • I prioritize active listening, especially when working with new people, to make sure I fully absorb their perspectives and existing context.

  • I strive for absolute clarity and alignment on "the why" before getting tactical to make sure that shared terminology translates into the same expected next steps and outcomes. This also helps surface any related shared or conflicting goals so that we can arrive at the best collective outcome.

  • I value cross-functional partnership, approaching every interaction with an open mind and the assumption that all colleagues are operating with the best intentions.

Problem solving
  • I typically prioritize context over speed, utilizing a period of scoping and investigation to fully define the problem before proposing solutions.

  • My methodology is iterative and data-driven, always striving to anticipate and address future needs along the way.

  • I deeply value keeping a flexible mindset and gravitate toward "phased approaches" to implement solutions: resolving immediate needs while strategically choosing appropriate moments to introduce more efficient, long-term solutions.

Decision making
  • As a systems thinker, I enjoy the thought exercise of establishing weighted criteria to evaluate options against specific constraints and dependencies.

  • I gather honest input from others to identify blind spots and reduce biases.

  • I actively resist binary "yes/no" temptations by exploring multiple creative options (including "better," "worse," and "weird" scenarios) to challenge default assumptions.

Learning

My continuous learning

To elaborate on my core value of Education, here are some top-of-mind topics I'm currently learning more about:
Systems thinking

How parts interact and influence each other to understand systems causing issues rather than just reacting to symptoms.

Behavioral science

Why people behave they way they do. Learning the evidence-based systems of human actions, decisions, and interactions, to be more informed on user experience.

Growth

Personal growth and growth in the garden. Consistency rather than instant results. Acceptance to let go (weed out) what no longer serves. Appreciation of different seasons (in life and in the garden).
